Testimonials from our clients…
Hi Mr. Mike! Just wanted to say what a wonderful job Miss Christina did yesterday at the rank ceremony. This was our family’s first experience and it was great! Nicholas was thrilled and we were all so proud of him. The after celebration was a terrific way to mingle with the other parents and for the children to socialize. We are very happy to be part of the AMA family. Kudos to you for running such a family- oriented establishment. You guys rock
!

Mr. Mike:
We cannot thank you enough for the positive impact America Martial Arts, Ms. Christine, and now Mr. D., has had on our lives over the past year! In school, as well as other sports, we have noticed that other children are disrespectful and inattentive. We attribute this to the fact that the parents and coaches are not challenging the children- leading to the children’s inability to challenge themselves. It seems adults are scared to teach and discipline children in a productive manor; to reinforce positive behavior. As a result, many children are not owning up to their responsibilities and accepting challenges. This influence is like a virus. One child feels they can get by with mediocre effort and a bad attitude- and it spreads.
This is not the case with our children- thanks to our efforts and reinforcement from American Martial Arts. Seth, Sabrina, and Tabitha look forward to going to class. They workout hard- and look forward to more! It has been both beneficial to their minds and bodies. Some of the other 3 year olds in Tabby’s class are jealous, because every Friday morning she announces she’s going to AMA after school! She looks forward to participating at AMA! All of our children do! We have heard our children’s friends complain about other martial arts classes taken at various locations being boring or too intense. This is not the case with AMA. It is the only sport our children participate in year round. They do not need to take a break, because AMA mixes up the skills so masterfully! I cannot stress enough how it has helped our children all around. Academically, it has helped them to focus in school. The learning process at AMA is mental, as well as physical. It has helped raise my children’s confidence and self-esteem. When they are able to achieve at AMA, they feel they can achieve in the class room- and on the field in other sports.
Recently, Seth and Sabrina seemed to be reluctant on the baseball field during games. In martial arts classes they were able to follow the techniques and improve. At baseball, they seemed to get very nervous when hitting and fielding… not concentrating. They played much better when practicing one-on-one with me. So I told them, before the game starts look for me and/or your mother before the game. Wave to us… bow… and say, “Be My Best.” Remember the creed of the AMA. We bow back and say, “Be My Best”. So far, it has worked great! It helps them to focus- as they do in your classes, and also lets them know we are watching; and all we want them to do is to “Be Their Best”.
We appreciate all the time and effort all teachers and coaches put into our children. However, it has gotten thin over the years. It is comforting knowing we can bring our children to someplace where they can “Be their best” and it builds and grows with them. We wish you much continued success with our children- and others! Thanks again!
Sincerely,
Troy Robinson & Katherine Hernandez-Robinson
